Romdoul Revival is an independent project focused on preserving and reintroducing Khmer cultural heritage through storytelling.

Itโ€™s to honor, showcase, and reflect the lived experiences of the Khmer people.

A contribution to the enduring legacy of the Khmer Empire, the Sangkum Reastr Niyum era, and modern Cambodia. The project seeks to encourage youth to carry forward the wisdom of those who came before them as they shape the future.

who i am

I am a 21-year-old rising senior majoring in International Relations. I was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, before moving to the United States. My dedication to preserving Khmer culture was inspired by my grandmotherโ€™s storytelling of Cambodian legends and her devotion to Theravada Buddhism, as well as my parentsโ€™ contributions to my aspirations and admiration for our heritage.

Through my childhood, I witnessed the raw reality and beauty of Cambodia. Alongside my path, I wanted to bring my culture and people with me, as they have shaped the woman I am today, and to honor those who have sacrificed. I wanted to carry their voices, pain, and resilience as testimony.

My main goal for this project is not to profit, but to share the stories and lives of all Khmer people, regardless of class or language barriers.
